Wow. Wonderful stuff. I think that this provides a jumping off point for some very interesting conversations about Arizona’s relationship with Martin Luther King, Jr. Fascinating.

GOOD BLACK NEWS

PHOENIX (AP) — Mary Scanlon had no idea a $3 purchase from a Goodwill store in Phoenix would turn out to be a rare link to the civil rights movement’s most revered leader.  Last April, Scanlon was at the thrift store when she spotted a pile of 35 vintage reel-to-reel tapes, including one labeled with the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s name. Despite the moldy and torn packaging, she snapped up all of them. “I didn’t really necessarily have any expectation that this tape would be rare,” Scanlon said.

Arizona State University archivists have found that tape is the only known recording of speeches the slain civil rights leader gave at ASU and at a Phoenix church in June 1964. The hour-long audio has since been digitized and is now available for listening on ASU’s website through June 30.

The tape illustrates that King had been eager to visit supporters…

    Cant hear from you &
Don’t know where else to post this and it lead to an interesting article……..

There are yet two pre Islamic African Indias which are all but forgotten.
First the original pre Dravidian people who now mainly inhabit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands,
(Bay of Bengal between India & S.E. Asia, note not between India & Africa)
Before history was yet again revised,
they were thought to be the people of the whole of India.
Kindred of them were in Japan before the Ainu,
they occupied Australia before the AbOriginals,
Greenland and Northern Europe is reported by the Vatican to have contained the same type of people.
The “Little Black Men” of Formosa / Taiwan are also of the same stock.
Many of India’s so called tribal people
are thought to be closely related to these peoples.
India was “so Black” at one time western scholars mused as to whether Africans originated in India and not Africa.
800 years before Islam, the ancient Greeks called India by the name of Eastern Ethiopia and said that they only differed from Western Ethiopia in texture of hair which by their time was straight.
In 650 BC Eastern Iran together with West Pakistan or southern Baluchistan was known as Gedorosia or “The country of the Dark Folk”.
Baluchistan in todays Pakistan has some of the most African people you can find anywhere outside of Africa.
The history of slavery both from Europe and the Arabs has been used to try to obliterate and obscure the true ancient African presence in Asia and elsewhere.
One last point, mixing between African and European gives us the Bob Marley type of look.
Mixing between light Persian / Arabian types gives the look we associate with regular Indians of India.
